The day I discovered healthy mug cakes, was one of the happiest days in my young life. This recipe for a healthy banana-chocolate mug cake is not only amazingly delicious, it is also a good start of an active day.
What do you need?
2 table spoons of oatmeal flakes
1 tea spoon of raw cocoa powder
Mash the banana with a fork and put it in a mug. Crack an egg and mix it with the banana. Add the oatmeal flakes and cocoa powder and mix again. Put in the microwave for two minutes (1000 watt), before taking it out. Turn the mug upside down on a plate and lift it up. The mug cake will get out easy and stand on its own, or eat the cake straight from the mug.
Tip: Make this recipe your own by giving it your own twist. You could use cinnamon instead of cocoa powder, or go wild a make it a fruity recipe with blueberries and other red fruits.
